illuminated by its waters.

the porro² and its harmony,

which is a culture,

a tradition.

At the brightness of an awakening,

in the magical paths of the Zenú,

the romosinuano³, the cañaflecha⁴,

the delicious rosquitas⁵, the mote⁶, reign.

Córdoba, an illusion,

of prosperous soils,

where the blood beats

in the melodic steps

that move with passion.

Meanings:

1. Guapirrean: they scream with joy.
2. Porro: typical music of the savannahs of Córdoba and Sucre and the Sinú valley.
3. Romosinuano: hornless bull of the Sinú valley.
4. Cañaflecha: plant from which crafts are made.
5. Rosquitas: crispy fried snack, made from cassava dough, and shaped like a small donut.
6. Mote: yam and cheese soup.
